Cooper McKenzie always thought she had been born a hundred years too late, but appreciates air conditioning, computers and other conveniences of modern day living. She recently returned to New Bern, North Carolina, after a six-year sojourn to Georgetown, Texas. In addition to dreaming up her next story, Cooper enjoys reading everything except scary books and making amigurumi animals.
Cooper served in the United States Air Force from 1982-86 as a medical administrative specialist after turning down the opportunity to train as a bomb technician. Looking for a career that might lead to a position in the civilian world, she told the recruiter she didn’t see a big future after the Air Force as a bomb builder. After thinking about it for a moment, he agreed. She loves to hear from readers, and can be reached at [email protected] Follow Cooper here Facebook – facebook.com/cooper.mckenzie.7 |
