Laura M. Baird is an award winning and Amazon best selling author of contemporary romance. She fills her stories with altered adventures from her life as well as those she dreams of experiencing. Laura served in the U. S. Army from 1986-1991, meeting her husband of thirty-three years while both served at Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, GA. Her brother also served at Ft. Benning, GA. She dreamed of becoming a rotary-winged pilot, but the closest she got was a visit to Ft. Campbell. Her MOS – Military Occupational Specialty – did include work on a flight line with fixed-wing aircraft. Tours to Honduras prior to marriage were a favorite of hers where she got to experience a different culture and atmosphere. She achieved the rank of Sergeant; being one of only two females in her PLDC class – Primary Leadership Development Course.
After separating from service, Laura went on to become a mother of two sons, a dental hygienist since 2000, and grandmother to three precious children. She resides in the Pacific Northwest where she's always working on her next adventure. She continues to work PT as a hygienist and enjoys all the time she can with family.
